  1. Some people are used to going barefooted in Summer, others all the year round. Old people say if you have a corn you will get rid of it if you walk up and down on a turf bank three times in the "Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, Amen". It is good to bathe your feet in bog water.

  2. There are three tailors in Roslea namely McGuinness, Beggan and Croarken. Croarken is th ebest. He makes suits and coats. McGuiness only makes for men. Croarken and Beagan make for men and women. Two of them live in Roslea, the other in the country. There are two wise sayings about the tailors.
