    She did not know what to do or where she could get it as good. She was told there were very good spinning wheels in Caherciveen about 50 miles from Tralee. She got up one morning at daybreak and started out from Currovough for Caherciveen barefoot. She arrived in Caherciveen in the evening and bought a new spinning wheel. She then started back for Currovough Tralee from Caherciveen with the spinning wheel on her shoulder. She did the whole journey of 50 miles back barefoot in one day.
