    But he was a spy, one night he was captured by a man the name of Keany from Mountown, who took him to his house and killed him, some old people say he was hanged but he was killed anyhow and the next night his body was thrown into a boghole in the “Bogac” bog. He is said to have appeared at his own home where he was killed one night as my Grandfather and his mother were coming home riding on a mare they had a terrible job getting the mare up the brae from tramping on Greyhound dogs.
