    "See the small man from my estate", he is credited as saying. Pat Ned was a big strong man, 6' and built accordingly. Here where the joke came in.
    As a result of his visit all rent arrears in the estate were quashed or free rent arrears for all. Pat Ned was given £3 as his expenses home and sent off home.
    This above story is really authentic. I have it from William McGloin, Grellagh. The mans age 80 years, father of James Pat Ned McGloin who lives in Grellagh.
