In this district there are cures known for sprains, stings, styes and headaches.The cure for a sprain is to get a thread from a weavers son or daughter and to leave it tied on the sprain until it would fall off itself.The cure for a stye on the eye is to pull ten gooseberry thorns and to first throw away one.
