    Near his was a dyer, his name was Brosnan. He was one of the best dyers in Kerry. The people used to come from all parts of Kerry to him. Further down the town there was a nailer, Maymond, who made all sort and sizes of nails. There were women who used make all kinds of hand-made lace.
    There was a bakery also owned by Cornelius Murphy. People came here from all parts of Kerry for bread.
    Several smiths, carpenters, and joiners worked in Miltown. There was a hatter making hats and caps too.
