    The Sean Croide says if you went up to the bellfry three times you would see the man that rang the bell. Once a stranger went up the steps three times. When he came down he began to ridicule the monks and he could not stir out of the spot. He went mad and shot himself.
    The grave was covered with wall-nut trees but they were cut down to make place for graves. There are some very old Tomb-stones there but the dates are unreadable now.
