    There is a place I love so dear
    as no one yet can tell.
    Banada is the nicest spot that I always
    love so well.
    Where in childhood days I worked
    with joy when in my youth and prime
    But alas: I had to turn my back
    and face a foreign clime.
    2nd.
    When I went to Tubber Station
    the tears came freely down.
    My heart felt sad and lonely till
    I landed in Queenstown
    My youthful days I did recall to
    my heart they had clung.
    As oft, I watched the jet Black
    crows as they fed their little young.

    To stand at the bridge in Banada
    that spans the River Moy.
