   Long ago the people used to make their own dye and the way they used to make it was. The used to get the blossoms from the whins and soak them n water. Then they would gather blackberries and squeeze the juice out of them. They would take out the blossoms out of the water when the colour was gone out of them. Then they would put in the blackberry juice and stir it well for about half an hour.
