    Two men named Patrick Harvey and alan Dunne jumped out of the second rigger to save the men who were (the men who) struggling in the water. They succeeded in getting one of the men whose name was George Rogan to the bank. He was the cox of the river.
    Soon the news spread through the town. The people got about eight boats with draggers. At twelve o'clock they got the bodies. The men drowned were Patrick Rooney, John McNutt, and Denis Coneely.
