    Stories of hidden treasure excite the imagination of old and young and they possess a fascination peculiarly their own.
    Therefore, it was no wonder that our interests were aroused to the keenest pitch when the news became known that a hoard of secret wealth had been unearthed in a tunnel which ran between the well known mountains of Sheebeg and Sheemore which are visible throughout a wide expense of South Leitrim.
