    was revealed to him that he had to get three jet black horses and have one attached to each chain. He did this, but in the effort of drawing out the barrel, one of the chains broke. On examining the horses it was found that a white hair was hidden in the hoof of one of them. They did not get the gold.
    The "Dún" Trewasure:
    There is supposed to be a hidden treasure in the "Dun", a field about two miles from Jamestown. The treasure consists of a crock of gold, and the old people say that a man came over from Australia to dig for it
