    he had two large iron pots full of gold and before he died, he buried the two pots of gold between two hills known as Liberty Hill and Hurdles Hill. That well is known to all the people of Roscommon and Leitrim as the "Pot of Money Well".

  2. There is a well on Mr Beirne's land called 'pot 'o' money well. I have never heard if any money were found in this well, but I think perhaps it mean that the water, being so pure it worth a pot of money. Nevertheless about three years ago the people of the district heard
