    Johnny Gaynor was the owner of a house in Longford to which people from the countryside around used to come every night to play cards.
    One summer's evening the people were playing cards in one of the rooms when suddenly a big dark object like a load of hay passed by the window and darkened the whole house so that the people could not see each other.
    Then a voice said:-"Burn the cards or you shall never see the light again" the people were so frightened that they burned the cards. Then
