Two priests were in charge of this chapel. Father James Hestin lived in a stone house in Corrlough and the ruins are still to be seen. The land on which it stood is owned by Dennis O Brien.
Father Dalton lived in Corrayard where Mr Lairds house now stands. Father Heslin died in the year 1851 aged 34 years and was the first to be buried in the new graveyard at Drumshanbo. Father Dalton was buried in the old graveyard.
