  1. In this district the farmer usually stores the potatoes on the potato field where he leaves them until the harvest work is finished. Then he takes them home to the farm and stores them in the haggard in a similar way or in a "barn".
    In preparation for the string of the potatoes the ground has first to be levelled with a spade.
