  1. The bellows are in the right hand side; there is one long handle out of it and the rest of it is connected with the fire. The smith shoes horses, asses, gennits but he does not shoe cattle. He makes farm implements such as loys shovels pikes and axes. Yes. The shoeing of a cart is done outside.
    There is local belief with regard to the forge water. Every time the smith washes his hands in the water which has cooled his irons he feels himself refreshed and made stronger. Because our lady wanted a pin for her cloack one day which had wrapped round the holy infant. A smith came out and saw that the holy Mother needed a pin and he took out a piece of money from his pocket and made it into a pin. Our Lady gave him her blessing.
