    How a match is made.
    In every district there is a match-maker. If a boy is too shy to go to the house where the girl is he brings a bottle of whiskey to the match-maker and the match-maker goes to a house where there is a Suitable girl. At first the match-maker gives the father and mother some of the whiskey and then he asks them for their daughter for the boy. If they consent to give her to him, they will meet in the nearest Village the next fair day and things will be settled and the day of the marriage will be appointed. On this day the boy goes early to the house where the girl is and they will go to the chapel and get
