  1. There lived a man in Cloonbonnive and his name was Michael Harte. This man had a big family. One night there was a man coming from rambling as he was passing by Hartes he saw a crowd of little men standing outside the room window. He saw a women dressed in white standing outside the room giving out a child to the women outside. The man went home and died when he went to bed. It was said he was taken away. The next morning when the Hartes arose. They found the child was gone and another one like it in its place. The child was gone. They put two nails in the coffin lid. It is said that if you believe the child was taken by fairies. Put the child in the coffin. Then take off the lid and you will know. They took the lid off the coffin. They found a cows leg instead of the child.
