  1. In olden times people lived on three meals in the day. The[y] consisted of porridge for breakfast, potatoes and buttermilk butter and eggs for dinner and porridge for the evening meal. In them days they have they have their own meal from corn. They used to get up early and work a few hours before breakfast. They never used cups nor mugs mostly pottingers(?) and little wooden vessels they used to call moggans(?)[.] They never used tea only milk and oatmeal.
