  1. House of long ago
Some of the houses of long ago were made from daub and some stones through it and hay to make the daub stick they were roofed with "scraws" and sticks. They had beds in the kitchens long ago.
There used to be only one door and one window in the houses and the window was so small that there was only one pane of glass in it.
For lights they used to have bog deal dried and it was only while they were eating their supper they used to have it lighted.
They had only one cow and inside in the kitchedn they used to have her tied.
