  1. The churn used in every country house in this district is fourteen inches in width and about one foot ten in height. In summer the people make a churning about twice in the week and in winter once in the week.
    The parts of the churn are the caisín, claibin, clár, loithne, and the body. When the people are making a churning they put the cream into the churn and then they put the churn dash and the claibin on.
