In a railed in space in Church-yard may be seen a large stone erected by Napper Tandy to the memory of his family. After many adventures he died in a foreign land. His body was landed at night at Annagassean & coffin brought to Juliantstown. 1792; £50 was offered for his arrest-warrant signed by his own two neighbours - Foster of Collon & Conyghan of Slane. Arrested in Chancery Lane Dublin - asked togo into room for his hat, locked door, escaped by window- hunted & had to leave. An Irish emigrant afterwards landed in U.S.A wrote home. "I met with Napper Tandy.
