    feathers. The crow builds her nest on the top of a tall tree, of mud, sticks and hay. The curley, swan, wild-duck, wild-geese and the water hen build there nests along the water edge. The magpie builds her nest on the top of a tree of mud and feathers. The martin builds her nest under the eaves of houses of mud. The corn-crake builds her nest in a hole in a meadow. The owl builds her nest in a trunk of a tree, of mud and straw. The crane builds her nest on the top of a tree of mud, sticks and moss. The tom-tit builds her nest in a stone wall of moss and feathers. These birds lay about five eggs each.
