    Our last landlord was Col. Richard Taylor Woods the Whitestown House, Delahasey, Co. Dublin, he was one of a family of four brothers, his fathers name was Hans Hamilton Woods and his mother was a Taylor of Ardgillan Castle Balbriggan, the first landlord was his father Hans-Hamilton. When he died his son - Warren St. Ledger - became landlord he was a violent man and fastididious it is said that he punished many of his tenants for small offences, after his reign his brother Col. R.J. Woods became landlord who was then a justice of peace for Balbriggan court, he was a man of pleasant disposition and easy to satisfy they always payed a man to collect their rent Mr Laurance Dunne - Tubbertown Balscadden Co Dublin.
