  1. Long ago there were not many roads only the five roads lead from the five counties which lead to Tara to the Ard Ri who lived there.
    But the other roads that the people walked on was the paths that the cows made. But when they got civilized they built houses and made little roads and by degree they got bigger and bigger.
    To day I will name the roads around the locality they are, the Bog Road, Balbrickard Road, Balgee Road, and the newly made Matt Road. There is about a mile from the District is the Main Old Dublin Belfast Road. On this road there is a lot of traffic.
    There are many stories told about this Old Dublin Road. It was there that Brian Borus body was carried (when)
