Connera a kind of cave called Poll na g Car. The front of this cave is about 5 feet high and both roof and floor are sloping to meet each other to a narrow opening at the end. This opening is barely large enough to squeeze your body through.
Sketch of Poll na g Car.
Tradition has it that this is the opening of a tunnel leading to Rath Forth. It is also said that a pig left in at one end came out at the other.
It would be very interesting to have Rath Forth explored by some competent authority.
