    There is a well on the quay road near the left bank of the river Bride.

    the left bank of the Bride and only a couple of hundred yards from Tallow Bridge Quay. Long ago Protestants lived in this house and they had a workman who was a Catholic. Every night in the summer the well used go dry. The workman said that if they would believe in Holy water he would put some in the well and that it would be full up next morning. So the Protestants believed in the holy water and the well was full next morning.
