“About 80 years ago there lived in Ballycastle a man whose name was Minister Burke.”
(ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)house were afraid to eat the fruit. There was a priest in Ballycastle at this time. He could bring the fish to or from the sea. Some of the servants that Minister Burke had said he would have to send for the priest, that he might leave the fruit all right. Minister Burke would not believe it at first. Then at last he consented. The Minister told the priest to come and he came. He had another priest with him as clerk. He had holy water with him also. He went round the garden shaking holy water, and as he was going along the wasps were decaying and falling from the bushes like drops of water. He told the Minister that he could now eat the fruit.
