  1. The general custom in this vicinity was that a large number of horsemen from each party's district used to go to attend the marriage ceremony. After it was over in the Church the horsemen went to the bride's house where the celebrations used to be held. If the bride's party reached the house the first the bride lived longest, and if the bridegroom's party reached it the first the bridegroom lived longest. Sometimes
