  1. There are two forges in our district which are known as Dunleavy's forge and McNicholas' forge. Those forges have not been long built because the fathers of those smiths had not been smiths themselves.
    One of those forges is much more important than the other, and this is McNicholas' forge. It is situated near a river so the water can be easily got to cool the red-hot irons. This forge is very old. It is built of stones and cement and the roof is made of galvanised iron. The door is shaped like
