- A pan of gold in the convent grounds. There is a strange story told about this gold. Once upon a time when the robbers were in Ireland they went up to where the ruins were to take all they had. They gathered up all the gold and put it into a big pot. After that they went down to the river and they dropped it in and and it went to the bottom.
