   A few years ago Dr--of L-- fell sick suffering from Erysipelas. He was attended by Doctors from Westport and Castlebar, but the sick man was making no recovery. When things were looking very bad his wife was counselled by some wise old woman of the kind neighbours to "let the Drs alone" but to get Walter-- plaster: That wouldn't fail. Now the Dr's Good lady had been a nurse in her pre-nuptial days and having been a professional lady with a competent knowledge of Modern Medical Science and Materia Medica, and besides a proper sense of professional importance, with perhaps the tail of her eye on more wordly
