    One night there was a man coming from his 'cuaird'.

  2. There was a storm in the year eighteen hundred and thirty nine. It did a lot of harm. It swept away three bridges, a bridge in Garranboy and another in Ballycorney and one in the Glen. There were trees knocked in Ballycorney and killed four cattle and a horse. Some old houses in Ross were knocked. There were some houses in the Glen
