  1. There are two Fairy Forths in this locality. One at Murphy's in Cromogue and the other in Rossard. The one in Cromogue is round and is fenced with a sgeach hedge and it is said that unbabtised children were buired there.
    There are lights seen in these Forths. There was a man digging in the Forth in Cromogue and the shovel that he was digging with fell from his hand and it fell underneath and he heard it rattling for twenty minutes. There is a sand-pit in the middle of this forth and sand was dug of it.
