The neighbour's tell stories to pass the night.
This night they told about a crock of gold hidden under-ground in a lane in the townsland of Kyle. There is a bantan-cock minding the gold. He was seen by men some years ago. A man dug for it. No one can tell why the crock of gold was hidden under-ground. When a man was diging for it he came to a flag and he heard a voice say "Stay there till I come back and I will give you silver". The man waited for about an hour but no one came back with the silver. The man went home broken-hearted when he did'nt get the silver.
