  1. In the famine-times there did a lot of people die. The dead people were carried on stretchers to be buried. Some people eat grass and turnips. There was 13 houses in Cloneybyrne and all the people died. There was 80,000 people in Ireland at at that time. Some of the potatoes were dug more of them rotted in the ground. The people sowed the potatoes broadcast the next year. There was a house at Crean's gate and another in Curran's field and all the people died.
