There are fields at home called names on account of their position. "The Hill field" because it is on a hill.
"Billys Field" because there was once a man named Billy Brien lived in that field. He was a shoe maker. "The Mass Path" field because the people used to take a short cut from Mass in Kyle that time. "Cill field" there was an old church in that field a time ago. "The Watter's field" because people lived there by the name of Waters. "The sgeach field" because there were two men burried under a sgeach in that field. "Clonocks fields" because they are all to-gether.
"The Three corner field" because there are only three corners in it. Bullan a bo for grazing cows. "Skander field" because there it is on the hill. "Well Field" because there is a well in it.
