  1. The swallows flying near the ground it a sign of rain. Soot falling from the chimney is another sign of rain.
    When you hear ducks calling is a sign of rain. If the smoke goes up straight in the sky it is a sign of fine weather if it goes down to the ground it is going to be wet weather. If you see a rainbow in the evening it is a sign of fine weather. If the cock crows in the door it is a sign of very wet weather.
