- About three miles from my home, there is an old graveyard. This graveyard is situated far from the road. The name of this graveyard is Killedoran. There is a priest named Father Cahill buried there. It is believed by the people of this locality that clay procured from this priest's grave cures headaches.It is customary for a person who takes clay from this grave to replace it by putting some ordinary clay on it. There is an old story connected with the power Father Cahill had in life. One day Father Cahill was going from Delvin to Collinstown to attend a Confirmation there. He accompanied the Bishop who was stopping in Delvin. He drove on a horse and trap.It happened that Father Cahill had some business in Drumcree. He delayed the Bishop so long that the bishop decided to continue his journey without the priest. But he could not move the horses until Father Cahill was ready. This incident shows his great power.
