    The Moat of Rath is about thirty feet high & circular in shape.
    There is supposed to be an underground tunnel in it leading to the Red House in Cloger Head where the monks & priests were slain.
    Long ago monks & priests hid in the tunnel and there is supposed to be a crock of gold hidden in it and the fairies mind it & if you went to dig for it they would take you away with them but no one can find the entrance to it now.
