- Collier the Robber was a man who would rob people of their money and mail cars in olden days. Everybody would be afraid of him. One night he came to a poor woman with a large family and begged a night's shelter as he could not get shelter anyplace. She did not like letting him in as she was in great trouble. She was going to be evicted next day not being able to pay her rent and she had even to sell the only cow she had.
However Collier the Robber told her to keep up. Next day the Land Lord, was on his rounds for his rent.
