The rocks field is a very big field, long ago when people were very poor, the owner was a very big farmer and he gave this field to the poor people to plant potatoes. The rocks were bare and they carried the clay up to the top of the hills in buckets and made it a good field, and when they had all that done the owner took the field off them again.
There is a stray sod in the tower field and there was a man in it all night and he could not get out of it until he turned his coat inside out.
Cod's field is so called because a man named Cod used to live in it.
The Church field is so called because it is beside the Churchyard.
