  1. Once upon a time three old women, and an old man lived together in a house in the parish of Togher in the County of Louth.
    They were supposed to be very poor, but one day when they died the man who got possession of the house, when digging in the garden one day, found a can, and he got eight pounds in it.

  2. There is supposed to be a treasure hidden in the fort of Rath Drummion.
    The fairies are supposed to have put it there for their own accommodation.
    There were no attempts made to unearth it, but there was a man cutting whins one day and he came across the pass into the cave.
