  1. Long ago the people of Ennistymon never wore shoes b[?] when going to town. When the people used come to town they used to put their shoes on a few yards outside the town.
    There is a bog outside Ennistymon and the old people used to go there to wash their feet as the water of this bog was said to cure rheumatism. Potatoe water is another cure for rheumatism.
