  1. Some of the old craft were thatching (tathing.) The local tather was Tom Kelly. He is thatching (tathing) yet. Thatching (Tathing) is done with Rushes and reed and straw and Scollaps. Reed is the best for thatch but it is hard to get it to grow because the land is not good enough. It is with straw the people thatch, Rushes grow in wet land and people thatch old houses with them. Another craft is forge work and the local Smiths are Terry Brien Ned Tobin Andy Tobin. They make horse shoes out of Iron and They make gates and they make Socks for ploughs and alot of other things.
