  1. There is a fort in the townland of Currarague in Tady Connors farm, now owned by Patrick Buckley. Two men whose names we do not know dreamt one night that there was a crock of gold in the fort. They went the fourth night to seek the gold.
    When they had gone down six feet they came upon a large flag. When they were about to remove the flag a big black bull came up roaring, with fire out his nose.
    When the men saw him they ran for their lives, and never tried to seek the gold again.
