Two of the men that were out fishing that night and who saw the light and the steamer told me this story and they had no doubt about the matter. - One night very late a number of Dursey fishermen were coming home after being fishing. They were fining the boats east in Lic and they saw a big light coming down from above the Light House Station and it followed the path down to Faill Mhiníochtain - the cliff where the people from the Island go ashore and leave their boats moored.
