    When a pair are about to be married, the man pays a visit to the house of the bride-to-be. He usually takes some other man with him and they commence talking about local affairs and about farming. After some time the marriage is brought about and a Consultation between the man and the bride's parents takes place. If they come to an agreement they fix a day for the cermony. The girls fortune is also arranged. It depends on the wealth of her parents. Then they make preparations for the wedding. The bride-to-be is very busy preparing her trousseau. When the morning of the wedding arrives, the church is sometimes decorated for the purpose. Both parties arrive at the church and the ceremony takes place and when the married couple are leaving the church and the ceremony takes place and when the married couple are leaving the church the well-wishes shower confetti on them. There is a wedding feast, and the parents of the bride invite their friends and relatives. After the breakfast there are drinking and dancing and singing. That night there is a dance and the "breedogues" come and sing and dance. They dress in red coats and have vizards on their faces. The vizards are painted red and black. The man of the house gives them a great welcome. There is a rhyme
