    Lá 'le Pádraig :When St Patricks day comes all the people wear a Shamrock and it was an old custom to go and get drunk and beat each other with sticks and pelt stones at each other .
    On St.Bridget's night all the young children dress up a dol and they used to go around to every house gathering money the doll was called "Brígdóg".
    On Chalk Sunday all the children get pieces of chalk and they every middle aged person who did not get married that Shrove.
    On May Day a lot of evil minded people go around and milk other people cows and it is supposed that they could take the butter from the people by some charms.
